Mayville State University was on the road Friday in the first of two road games in South Dakota as the Comets took on Black Hills State University.

The Comets fell to the Yellowjackets in three straight, losing by scores of 25-19, 25-17, and 25-23.

Ariana Odegard had 30 assists in setting up Kacie Fortmann with 8 kills and Nicky Carrison with 8 kills. Ashley Haines added 6 kills for the Comets and Abagail Anderson had 5.

Ashley Torgusson led the Comets with 10 digs and Brittney Lindgren had 8 in the contest.

The Comets will move on to face South Dakota Tech on Saturday.
