The Mayville State University football team travelled to Jamestown, N.D. on October 15th to take on the Jamestown College Jimmies. Jamestown held off the Comets for a 28-12 win.
Jamestown jumped out to a 14-0 lead before running back
Dominique Bradley ran in a touchdown from 22 yards out to cut the lead to 14-6. Jamestown would add two more scores and the Comets would return a fumble for a touchdown before the final score of 28-12.
Bradley led the Comets offense with 178 yards on 33 carries. Quarterback
Jake McLain was 11-18 passing with 86 yards.
The Jimmies outgained the Comets in total yards with 372 yards on 46 total plays. MSU ended the contest with 262 yards on 64 plays. The Comets had 15 first downs in the game compared to the Jimmies' 12.
MSU is now 3-5 on the season and will move on to face Dickinson State University on Saturday at Jerome Berg Field in Mayville. Game time is set for 1:30 p.m.
