The Comets finally found themselves back at home after an 11 game road trip. Mayville State took on long time arch rival Valley City State in front of a nice crowd at the Lewy Lee Fieldhouse on Tuesday, September 11th.

Mayville State found their groove early winning the first set 25-14. It was much the same in match 2 and 3 as the Comets went on to defeat the Vikings in 3 straight sets keeping them perfect at home (25-14, 25-17, 26-24). The Comets were led by Josette Glatt who had a game high 10 kills. Maggie Maroney had 9 kills to go along with her 13 digs. Nikki Roholt added 8 kills.

Mayville State will take their 11-3 record to road as they will go up against Dordt College on September 14th. Game time is set for 7 pm.
