The Comets Football team traveled to Jamestown on Saturday, but were unable to topple the Jimmies.

Jamestown raced out to an early first quarter lead behind three TD passes from Beau Erickson. The Jimmies tacked on 2 more touchdowns to make the score 35-0 at the half. Jamestown added four more touchdowns in the second half before Lance Jackson hauled in a 36 yard touchdown pass from Aaron Cruz which made the final score 63-6.

Jackson recorded 5 Receptions for 77 yards and a touchdown while John Lamour collected 5 tackles and picked off a pass.

The loss drops the Comets record to 2-6. This week Mayville State travels to Dickinson for the final road game of the season. Kickoff is at 100 pm.
