The #23 Comets Women's basketball team hosted Trinity Bible College in their final tune-up before North Star play.

The Comets wasted no time in dispatching the Lions, as they scored the first 23 points of the game and rolled to a 53-11 halftime lead. Coach Hutter used his entire squad liberally in the 2nd half and the Comets cruised to a 92-29 victory. The Comets forced 33 turnovers and allowed the Lions to shoot only 15% from the field. 

Andi Gayner led the Comets in scoring with 15 and in rebounds with 8. Liza Hoglo added 13 points, Erica Henrikson hit 3 3 pointers to notch 11 points, and Alyssa Lentner and Joelle Ertl each recorded 10 points and 5 steals.

The Comets finished their non-conference slate with an 11-3 record, and travel to Dickinson next Wednesday 1/21 to open their Conference schedule.
