After a strong non-conference performance, the Comets Men's Basketball team looked to keep the momentum going against Dickinson State.
The first half was virtually even until a 9-0 run by the Blue Hawks gave them a cushion at halftime, leading 42-33. Dickinson State was able to hold the lead throughout the second half, as the Comets closed to within 2 but could never regain the lead. The Blue Hawks made enough free throws at the end to make the final score 81-73 Dickinson. The Comets shot well from the field and outrebounded the Blue Hawks 40-27 but were undone by 21 turnovers.
Michael Lindsay went 9/14 from the field to lead the Comets in scoring with 20.
David Olson added 12,
Jamal Branco chipped in 11, and
Chuck Robinson recorded 10 points, 9 rebounds and 3 blocks.
