The Comets Men's Basketball team took on their 6th ranked opponent this season, hosting #25 Jamestown.

Both teams brought their defensive A-Games, as neither team cracked 40% in the first half. Jamestown made a couple more buckets and held the lead 30-24. The cold shooting continued for the Comets in the second half, but the Jimmies got hot for a 4 minute stretch and scored 12 consecutive points to take a commanding lead. Mayville State was unable to get into any sort of offensive rhythm and ended up losing 46-65. 

Chuck Robinson was the only Comet in double figures with 13 and also grabbed 7 rebounds, and David Olson added 8 points and 3 assists.

he loss drops the Comets record to 12-7 and 0-2 in the NSAA. Mayville State hits the road this week and they play Presentation College on Wednesday and Dakota State on Saturday.
