Box Score The Comets Men's Basketball team looked to start a road winning streak by traveling down to Yankton, South Dakota to take on the Mount Marty Lancers. It was a close game throughount, but in the end the Comets managed to escape with a 69-67 win.

The first half was back and forth, and after 20 minutes, the Lancers clung to a 32-31 lead. Mayville State took the lead in the second half and made enough free throws at the end to pull out the victory. Both teams shot just below 50% from the field. The Lancers knocked down 10 treys, but the Comets outrebounded them 39-32 and got to the free throw line 23 times to Mount Marty's 7.

Chuck Robinson led all scorers with 18 points, and also hauled down 11 rebounds. Jamal Branco was close behind with 17 points while adding 5 assists. Josh DeWitt collected 3 steals.

The win evened the Comets' record at 3-3. The Comets' next matchup is an exhibition game on 11/17 against Bemidji State.
