Mayville State only shot 30% from the field in the first half, but only committed 2 turnovers to stay within striking distance. The second half was close throughout, as there were 8 lead changes and 5 ties. The biggest lead either team in the last 18 minutes was 4 points. The Jimmies were able to make just enough plays to hold a slim lead down the stretch and escaped with a 70-67 win.
