The Comets Volleyball team hosted the Presentation College Saints in NSAA action this morning. The fans were treated to a full morning of volleyball as this contest went the full five sets.

Set one saw the Comets slowly stretch a lead out and ultimately won 25-20. Set two was close throughout, but the Saints took advantage of some late Comet errors to pull out a 26-24 victory. The Comets took an early lead in set three and managed to hold off a late Presentation charge to win win 25-23. Mayville State raced out to a 17-7 lead in set four to take control of the match. However, the Saints stormed back with some strong serving and scored the last five points to steal a 25-23 win and forced a fifth set. The Saints finished off the comeback with a 15-11 win.

Stephany Wold led the Comets attack with 16 Kills, Megan Kolness dished out 58 assists and Paige O'Connor recorded 23 digs. For te Saints, Mallori Rabenberg and Karly Fuhrman each racked up 17 Kills, Abagail Wahl added 37 assists, Katelyn Boesl contributed 19 Digs and Marla Nightengale chipped in two blocks.

The Comets record now stands at 5-10, 0-2 in the NSAA.
