The Trojans stormed back to score the last five points of the set to win 26-24. Dakota State used that comeback to fuel a sweep, winning the next two sets 25-14 and 25-19.

TaLise Hansen recorded 21 digs and

On Saturday, the Comets opened a doubleheader against the nationally ranked Bruins. This disadvantage at the net led to scores of 25-19, 25-14, 25-12. Mayville State looked to get back on track against College of the Ozarks. After falling down two sets, the Comets battled furiously in the third to extend the match, but the Ozarks prevailed 25-23.
