Box Score The Comets couldn't pull out a victory tonight in the Lewy Lee Fieldhouse as they hosted the Dakota State Trojans in an NSAA matchup.

The Comets were able to take advantage of errors by DSU and build a 12-7 lead, key offense by Whitney Janu, Jana Mehus and Cassidy Miller gave MSU enough of a lead to outlast DSU in the first, 25-19.
The second set saw the Comets jump out early and DSU battling back to make it a close one. Each team traded points for most of the match, but the Trojans were able to string together a stretch of offense by Jaz Williams and build a 14-11 lead. From there, both teams were able to go on offensive runs, back and forth, until they were locked up 20-20. Some late errors by MSU and some nice kills by Sami Zell and Jaz Williams were able to put it away for DSU.
The third and fourth set were much of the same, both sets saw the Trojans eliminate most of their mistakes and build big enough leads early to outlast the Comets late. MSU was able to battle back in the fourth set to make it interesting at the end, but Dakota State was too much for the Comets tonight.
