Watertown, S.D. - The Mayville State University Women's Volleyball ends their season on Friday afternoon in the NSAA Conference Tournament to Valley City State Vikings in four sets. The Comets finished the regular season 15-15 overall.

How It Happened:
In the first set, the Comets were trailing by one at 14-15, when the Comets would finish the set on an 11-3 run to take the first set 25-18.
The Comets were down two in the second set, when they went on a 6-0 run to take a four-point lead. VCSU would storm right back and tied the game at 17.
The second set would go extra points as both teams traded points, as the score was tied six different times in the last 14 points of the game. The Vikings would score back-to-back points in the set and would take the set 26-28.
The Comets trailed by two or three points most of the set until the Comets would tie the game at 19 but the Vikings would then go on a 6-2 run to take the third set 21-25.
In the fourth set, the Comets tied the game at seven when VCSU took a three-point lead and would not give up that lead, as the Vikings took the fourth set by a final score of 18-25.
