Comet Volleyball host Warriors and Jimmies on Saturday

Mayville, N.D. – The Mayville State University Volleyball team host Waldorf University and University of Jamestown on Saturday at the Lewy Lee Fieldhouse. First serve is scheduled for 1:00 pm and 3:00 pm against the Warriors and Jimmies.
 
Quick Hits on the Comets:
The Mayville State University Volleyball team enters the doubleheader on Saturday with a 16-8 overall record and 5-3 in conference play.
Earlier this week the Comets dropped a conference game to Viterbo University in straight sets.
The Comets are averaging 11.8 kills per set, a .179 hitting percentage, 10.4 assists per set, and 83 service aces on the season.
Defensively, the MSU is averaging 20.7 digs per set, 193.0 total blocks, 2.1 blocks per set, and a .942 serve reception percentage.
Victoria Johnson leads the Comets with 338 kills on the season, a .303 hitting percentage, and 91.0 total blocks.
