Comets match-up with Warriors in Opening Round of NAIA National Tournament

Mayville, N.D. – The Mayville State University Volleyball team is at Midland University in the Opening Round of the NAIA Volleyball National Tournament on Saturday. The first serve is scheduled for 2:00 pm at Midland University in Fremont, Nebraska.

The Mayville State University Volleyball team enters the NAIA National Tournament for the first time in school history with a 23-10 overall record and a second-place finish in the NSAA with an 11-3 record.
The Comets were also receiving votes in the final regular season NAIA Coaches' Poll. They have been receiving votes in all five polls this season.

Rachel Hill is second on the team in assists with 547, she also has 22 service aces, 261 digs, 2.1 digs per set, and a .915 serve reception percentage.
Amy Siem is second on the team with 510 digs, 4.11 digs per set and a .962 serve reception percentage. Jordyn Lucas is the other back-row player with 394 total digs, 3.2 digs per set, and a .928 serve reception percentage.
