Mayville, N.D. – The Mayville State University Volleyball team defeated the Presentation College Saints in four sets Tuesday night at the Lewy Lee Fieldhouse. After dropping the first set to the Saints, the Comets would win the next three sets.

How It Happened:
Presentation College took the first set by a final of 25-19 finishing the set on an 8-0 run. The Comets would take the next three sets by a final score of 25-22, 27-25, and 25-22.
The Comets finished the match with 59 kills, a .168 hitting percentage, and 26 attacking errors. MSU tallied a game-high .277 hitting percentage in the fourth set and tallied 17 kills in the second set.
Mayville State would also record 92 digs, 55 assists, 17 blocks, and two service aces.
Defensively, the Comets allowed a .160 hitting percentage forced 28 hitting attacks and 58 kills.
