How It Happened:
Mayville State started the game in the lead and would hold a lead until the Bruins tied the set at 14. Bellevue would go on a 9-2 run to jump out to a 16-22 lead on the Comets and take the first set by a final of 20-25.
In the second set, MSU was trailing by one point, but Bellevue would continue to add to that lead and held a five-point lead late in the set. MSU would fight back but could not get any closer then three points and would drop the second set by a final score 20-25.
The Comets struggled to get anything going in the third set and found themselves down 3-16 and would drop the last set by a final of 14-25.
