MOORHEAD, Minn. — The Mayville State volleyball team fell to Concordia College (Minn.) on Tuesday night, dropping a 3-0 decision at Memorial Auditorium.
The Comets battled throughout the match but Concordia took all three sets by scores of 25-18, 25-17 and 25-18.
Andrea Majchrzak led Mayville State offensively with seven kills, while Lexi Hoeft added six kills and Trinity Mayencourt finished with five. The Comets totaled 27 kills as a team and hit .100 for the match.
Zenna Krull and Danica Hanson each recorded nine assists to lead the Comets' offense. Tori Richter anchored the defensive effort with a team-high 17 digs, while Kathryn Agnew and Majchrzak each recorded three blocks. Majchrzak also added three digs.
Concordia finished with 40 kills compared to Mayville State's 27 and recorded nine service aces. The Comets held an advantage at the net, however, recording six blocks to Concordia's four.
The Comets will host Rocky Mountain College on Thursday at 6:00pm for Faculty & Appreciation Night. SAAC will host a Code Blue event, encouraging everyone to wear blue. In between the 1st & 2nd set, the 2026 Homecoming court will be announced.
