Andrew Loudenback joined the Comets in April 2020 as the offensive coordinator. A Colorado native, Loudenback comes to Mayville from Colorado School of Mines, where he was wide receivers and tight ends coach.

While at Mines, the Orediggers when 12-1 in 2019, winning the RMAC conference championship and advanced to the second round of the NCAA playoffs. One of his wide receivers from last season received 2nd team All-RMAC and three more players to Honorable Mention. Prior to Mines, he served as a graduate assistant at St. Cloud State, where he worked primarily with the wide receivers.

Loudenback played football at Montana Tech from 2014-16 where he played quarterback and tight end. Andrew threw for 1600 yards and 15 touchdowns in three seasons for the Orediggers. As a tight end he tallied 15 receptions for 185 yards and two touchdowns. He graduated from Montana Tech in 2016 with a degree in Business Information and Technology Management.

A Colorado native, Loudenback starred at Chaparral High School in Parker, where he was a two-time captain and four-year starter at quarterback. He led Chaparral to two Continental Conference championships, throwing for 4,715 yards and 47 touchdowns in his prep career.
