Nick Flesland is entering his 6th season as assistant coach for the Comets for the 2025 season.
Flesland is the WR Coach, Special Teams Coordinator, Video Coordinator, and Social Media Coordinator. In 2021, he was selected to be the running back coach at the 2021 NAIA Senior Football Classic held in Durhamn, North Carolina.
Prior to Mayville State, Flesland spent two seasons as a defensive assistant the UW-River Falls.
Flesland played for the Falcons for four years, where he was the long snapper at UW-River Falls from 2014-18 and was nominated to the All-WIAC sportsmanship team as a senior. He also works in student life for Mayville State.
