Before MSU:
Khalil is a 2025 graduate of Cheyenne High School in Las Vegas, Nevada where he played football all four years. He was awarded the Most Improved Player Award x2. 

He is the son of Misha Hooks and has two siblings, Zion & Kayla. He plans to major in Political Science.
