Mason is a 2023 graduate of Parkers Prairie High School in Parkers Prairie, Minnesota where he played football and basketball. Currently, Mason is a kicker on the Mayville State Football Team.

Mason is the son of Mathew & Melissa MIttag and plans to major in Health & Physical Education.
