Michelle Meiklejohn, a native of Oakes, North Dakota, begins her 9th season with the Mayville State University volleyball team as the assistant coach. After the 2019 and 2020 season, she was awarded Assistant Coach-of-the-Year in the North Star Athletic Association and the North Central Region.Â
During her time on the sideline, Jayden Warner was named to 2018 NAIA All-American Honorable Mention and 2019 NAIA All-American Third Team. Victoria Johnson was named to NAIA All-American Honorable Mention in 2019. Johnson and Warner were named to NSAA First Team All-Conference, while Hannah Bliss and Elora Passa were named to Second Team All-Confernce.
Warren continued her education at NDSU, where she completed her Masters of Science in Health, Nutrition, and Exercise Science in 2017. She is also entering her 7th year as an Instructor and first as Assistant Professor for the Health, Physical Education, and Recreation Department.Â
From 2012-2014, Coach Meiklejohn finished her collegiate career at Mayville State playing right side and graduating with a B.S. degree in Fitness and Wellness with minors in biology and coaching. She was also named a NSAA Scholar-Athlete.Â
From 2009-2010, prior to her time at Mayville State, Coach Warren played volleyball and basketball at North Dakota State College of Science where she was a member of the MonDak Conference All-Academic Team and a member of a conference and regional championship volleyball team. She graduated from Oakes High School in 2009 where she was a three-sport athlete.
Meiklejohn resides in Mayville with her husband Jared and son Eriah.
