Before MSU:
Natalya is a 2026 graduate of Northern Cass High School and is originally from Grandin, North Dakota. During her time as a Jaguar she played volleyball for four years, ran track and field all four years and participated in dance all four years. She was named Northern Cass Female Senior Athlete of the Year and was her volleyball & track and field's team captain for two years. She received the Most Improved award in both volleyball and track, along with the Consistency Award in track & the Offensive MVP Award in volleyball.

Academically, Natalya was named North Dakota Academic All-State and made honor roll.

Natalya is the daughter of Raphael & Nicole Gietzen and has five siblings: Aidric, Ellianna, Atticus, Elysia & Axton. She plans to major in Allied Health.
