Biography

Samantha graduated from Barnesville High School in Barnesville, Minnesota where she played volleyball (HOL All-Conference x3, most kills x2, team captain x2, 1,000 career digs), basketball (all conference honorable mention), softball (batting % leader, team captain x2) and participated in track (all conference x4, state place finisher x2, school record holder) all four years. 

Academically in high school, Passa was a Triple A Award Subsection Winner, Valedictorian of her class and was Academic All State four times. 

At Mayville State, Sam has been on the Dean’s List, Athletic Director Honor Roll, Daktronics Scholar Athlete and is the president of SAAC. She is majoring in  Mathematics and getting minors in Accounting & Business Administration.

Samantha is the daughter of Jayme & Jane Passa, and has one sister Elora. Mom Jane is in her 26th year as head volleyball coach at North Dakota State College of Science where she has had 23 consecutive winning seasons. Sister Elora played volleyball at Mayville State and is currently the graduate assistant coach.
