Box Score The Comets came out hot and stayed hot throughout their whole first game against Providence University.
The first quarter the Comets got a big lead going on a 17 point run, and would not let up the continued to dominate over the Pilots, ending the first quarter 39-10.
The Comets came out even stronger the second quarter with a 29 point run, the Pilots fought hard but Comets defense was just as unstoppable as the offense was only letting the Pilots score 6 points in the second quarter. Both teams went into the locker rooms for half with a score of 76-16.
The Comets offense did not stop for one second in the third quarter scoring 24 points and the defense only let the Pilots score 6 points for the whole quarter. The quarter ended with the score being 102-22.
The Pilots had their biggest scoring quarter in the fourth quarter, scoring 16 points. The Comets would not let the 16 points scored by the Pilots threaten them what so ever as they scored 32 points in this quarter. The Comets ended their first game of the season with a 134-38 win against the Pilots.
