Bellevue, Neb. - The Mayville State University Volleyball team dropped a conference game to #11 Bellevue Bruins on Friday evening in straight sets.

How It Happened:

In the first set, the match was tied at 16 before the Bruins ended the set on a 9-2 run to take the first set 18-25.

After the Bruins dominated the second set, MSU battled in the third set but as the first set but it wasn't enough as the Bruins take a three-set victory over the Comets.

In the match, the Comets finished with 23 kills, 14 attack errors, for a .089 hitting percentage. 

The Bruins tallied a .350 hitting percentage, with 56 kills, on 120 attempts. 

MSU also finished with 40 digs, 20 assists, two blocks, and two service aces.
