Mayville, N.D. – The Mayville State University Women's Basketball dropped a close game to #19 Dakota State by a final score of 76-82 on Saturday afternoon.

How It Happened: 
Mayville State started the game quickly jumping out to a 22-13 lead after one-quarter of play. MSU shot 10-17 from the field, 2-of-4 from the 3-point line, and forced nine turnovers.
In the second quarter, the Trojans outscored the Comets by one but MSU took an eight-point lead heading into the intermission.
In the second quarter, MSU shot 46.7 percent from the field, 2-of-5 from behind the 3-point line, and recorded eight rebounds.
