Comet Baseball host Jimmies and Blue Hawks this week

Mayville, N.D. – The Mayville State University Baseball team host the University of Jamestown and Dickinson State this week for the final two home games of the fall on Wednesday and Saturday. On Wednesday, the Comets and Jimmies will play one game starting at 3:00 PM, and Saturday will be a doubleheader starting at 1:00 PM against the Blue Hawks.

The Comets enter the week with an 0-1 overall record dropping the fall opener last week to Valley City State by a final score of 3-6.
The Comets pushed three runs across last week on seven hits, three walks, and left seven runners on base.
Connor Cory has pitched 3.2 innings only allowing one hit and striking out three batters.
Jared McCorrister tallied one hit in four at-bats for the Comets driving in two runs.
