Omaha, Neb. – Comets Men's Basketball team dropped the first game of the Omaha Classic on Friday to Midland.

How It Happened:
The Comets were trailing by seven about midway through the first half when MSU would go on a 7-0 run to tie the game at 17.
The Warriors would gain the lead back and would extend the lead to 10 and would take a nine-point lead heading into the halftime break.
In the second half, MSU was trailing by 10 with 5:04 left in the game and would go on a 10-0 run to tie the game at 74. The Comets would take a one-point lead with 1:11 left in the game but the Warriors would finish the game on a 5-0 run to defeat the Comets.
The Comets would finish the game shooting 44.8 percent from the field, 20.0 percent from behind the 3-point line, pulled in 42 rebounds, and dished out 18 assists.
