Mayville, N.D. - Comets Women's Basketball hit the road this last weekend taking on the Jamestown Jimmies Friday and then Dickinson State Saturday.
The No. 24 ranked Jimmies would be able to hold off an explosive 3rd quarter by the Comets and secure the W 80-71. The Comets looked to bounce back Saturday afternoon in Dickinson, where they shut down the Blue Hawks in an impressive 69-46 win.

- Jimmies go into halftime with the lead 38-22
- Comets explode in the 3rd quarter, outscoring the Jimmies 35-22

- Midway through the 4th the Jimmies regain a 10 point lead and hold off the Comets

- Comets have a big defensive first quarter, outscoring the Blue Hawks 20-4
- Blue Hawks & the Comets both put up 15 in the 2nd quarter
- Comets lead 35-19 heading into the locker room at half
- Quiet offense 3rd quarter for both teams as the Comets score 11 and the Blue Hawks just 8
- Comets put up 23 in the 4th quarter
- Despite a late 4th quarter effort by the Blue Hawks, Comets get the win 69-46

The Comets improve to 14-5 overall and 4-3 in NSAA play. They are currently tied for 2nd with Jamestown in the NSAA standings. #6 Dakota State remains on top and undefeated with a record of 6-0.
