Austin Monson enters his fourth season (2024-25) as an assistant coach for the Mayville State baseball team. He works primarily with outfielders and assists in recruiting.
Monson attended Mayville State University from 2013-2018 playing baseball for previous head baseball coach Scott Berry. He was a member of the 2016-2017 team that broke the school record for wins. In his time with the Comets, they won three Conference Championships, and participated in three National Tournaments. His senior year he was awarded the “Champion of Character”.
Monson received his Bachelor of Science in Biology and Sports management along with a minor in Coaching from Mayville State University in May of 2018. In the fall of 2020, he will start his Master’s degree in Coaching & Athletics Administration.
Monson lives in Mayville with his wife Kiana and his daughter.
