Spencer Mallonee is entering his third year as an assistant coach for Mayville State baseball.
Mallonee arrived to Mayville in the fall of 2011 as a freshman student-athlete from Spokane, Washington. He attended Mt. Spokane High School in which he graduated in the spring of 2011.
Mallonee played four consecutive years under head coach Scott Berry, where he was a three time Gold glove winner and conference champion (2015). Â
In October of 2015 Mallonee received certification from the Major League Scouting Bureau in scouting. Mallonee primarily works with infielders, baserunning and hitting. Â
Mallonee graduated from Mayville State in 2016 with a B.A.S in Business Administration and a minor in coaching.
