As a Comet:
2021-22: Played in 9 games, averaging 3.6 minutes. He put up a total of 8 points for the season. In addition, he had 2 steals and 13 rebounds. His season high was putting up 3 points against Oak Hills Christian College.
 
2022-23: Played in 2 games, averaging 6 minutes. He put up a total of 11 points, 1 assist, and 6 rebounds. His season high was against St. Boniface, where he scored all 11 of his points.
 
2023-24: Played in 9 games, averaging 8.2 minutes. He averaged 4.4 points per game, with a total of 40 for the season. In addition, he had 4 assists, 2 steals and 15 rebounds. His season high was against St. Boniface where he produced 17 points, made 7 of 8 field goal attempts, and went 3 for 3 on 3-point field goal attempts. Dixon was also a Daktronics Scholar-Athlete.

Before MSU:
Dixon attended Central Cass in Casselton, North Dakota, where he played football and basketball for 4 years and participated in track and field for 6 years. He was a National Honors Society member, achieved 3x All-Region honors in basketball and 2x All-Region honors in football, and was the senior class valedictorian. He also earned Academic All-Conference recognition.
He is the son of Jeff and Kristi Dixon.
