Biography
Before MSU:
Leighton is a 2022 graduate from Northern Cass High School, where he played basketball for four years at the varsity level and served as a team captain. He also participated in football and track throughout his high school career, setting numerous school records. Before transferring to Mayville State, he played one year at Crown College.
Leighton is the son of Mark and Heather Strommen and has three siblings: Adara, Skylar, and Ryker. He intends to graduate this spring with a major in Allied Health and subsequently pursue graduate studies to become a Doctor of Physical Therapy.
