2022-23: Played in 8 games, averaging 5 minutes. He put up a total of 19 points for the season. In addition, he had 3 steals, 6 assists, and 12 rebounds. His season high was against St. Boniface, where he racked up 4 assists, 4 rebounds, and 2 steals.
2023-24: Started in 14 of 29 games played, averaging 16.4 minutes. He averaged 5 points per game, totaling 144 for the season. In addition, he racked up 18 steals, 31 assists, and 97 rebounds. He went 4-4 against St. Boniface, for a season high of 12 points. Academically, Garza was named a 2024 Daktronics Scholar-Athlete.
Before MSU:
Garza attended Grafton High School in North Dakota. He played basketball, football, and participated in track. He earned 2x All-Region honors, was named Region Senior Athlete of the Year, received All-Tournament selection at the state level, and was recognized as a Lions All-Star.
He is the son of Alicia Garza.
