Biography

Before MSU:
Ava graduated from in 2024 from Centennial High School out of Bakersfield, California where she played both softball all four years. She played travel ball for the Cal Braves and was coached by Tawny James.

After graduation, Ava attended Coalinga College for two years where she earned her associates degree and pitched for the Falcons. She was on the honor roll each semester and was named Athlete of the Week once. 

She is the daughter of Maranda & Scott Carlton and has three siblings - Isla, Andi & Jackson. Ava plans to pursue Business at Mayville State.
