Before MSU:
Ella comes from St. Cloud Technical & Community College. She was a two year starter for the Cyclones primarily playing in the MINF and the outfield. She was named 1st Team All-Conference in the 2025 season.

2025 (As a Cyclone): Started all 43 games played. Had a batting average of .415, racking up 49 hits in 118 at-bats. She had 5 doubles, 4 triples and 1 home run. She also produced 30 RBIs and crossed the plate 46 times. She was 19-22 in stolen bases and struck out just 8 times. Defensively, Ella primarily played 2B, posting a fielding % of .947 where she had 69 put outs and 57 assists. She also turned 2 double plays. Her team went 33-11 overall and 11-1 in conference play. They hosted the 2025 Region XIIIB Softball Tournament, falling in the championship game to eventual 2025 NJCAA National Champions, NDSCS. 

2024 (As a Cyclone): Started 37 of the Cyclones 39 games played. Had a batting average of .347, totaling 42 hits in 121 at-bats. She had 7 doubles, 3 triples and 1 home run. She had 21 RBIs and scored 38 runs. She led the team in stolen bases, where she was prefect going 21-21. Defensively, Ella primarily played centerfield. She had a fielding % of .821 where she had 30 put outs and 2 assists. Her team went 20-19 overall and 12-2 in conference play. 

She is a 2023 graduate of Aitkin High School in Aitkin, Minnesota. She played both basketball and softball all four years of high school. 

Ella plans to major in business & marketing. She is the daughter of Kellie & Jeremy Janzen and has four brothers - Landon, Noah, Jayden & Isaiah.
