Biography

As a Comet:
2025: Named First Team All-Conference in the NSAA. She was also a captain for the Comets. Tulla was 1 of 3 players that started all 48 games played by the Comets in the 2025 season. She had a .358 batting average putting up 53 hits, 18 doubles, 2 triples and 5 home runs. She led the team in RBI's with 31, she scored 26 times and she had just 15 strike outs in 148 at bats. She was walked 15 times and was 5-5 in stolen bases. Tulla has now tied the Mayville State Softball doubles record 2 seasons in a row and has racked up over 100 hits in her career so far. She was named SAAC President at the end of the 2024-25 school year.

2024: Started in all 47 games played. She primarily played third base, producing 45 put-outs, and 59 assists for the season. Offensively, she had 151 at-bats, posting a .344 batting average, .432 on-base percentage and .556 slugging percentage, racking up 52 hits, with 18 doubles, 1 triple, and 4 home runs. She scored 31 times and had 34 RBIs. Her season-high was against Viterbo, where Tulla had 3 hits; 2 doubles, and 1 triple, scoring 3 times. Tulla was awarded the Freshman of the Year award and made First Team All-Conference. She was also the NSAA player of the week two times. Academically, Tulla made the Dean’s List.

Before MSU:
Tulla attended Grand Rapids High School and is from Bovey, Minnesota. She earned All-Conference honors in 2021, 2022, and 2023, and All-Section honors in 2021, 2022, and 2023. She was also named to the All Iron Range team in 2022 and 2023 and received an All-State Honorable Mention in 2023. In addition to softball, Tulla also played tennis for two years and basketball for one year.

Academically, Lindsey was named Student-Athlete of the Month in May 2021 and November 2022, Student of the Month in May 2022, and received a Certificate of Excellence in Business, Physical Education, and Captains Council. She made the Honor Roll all four years.

She is the daughter of Jodi and Greg Tulla.
