Biography

As a Comet:
2025: Named First Team All-Conference in NSAA & named captain for the 2025 season. She also was the 2025 Shark Award Recipient for Comet Softball. She was just 1 of 3 players that started all 48 games played by the Comets in the 2025 season. She had a career high batting average of .358, putting up 53 hits in 148 at-bats. She tallied 15 doubles, 3 triples and 5 home runs. She scored 25 runs and hit 30 RBI's. She was 8-10 in stolen bases. 

2024: Started in all 46 games played. She primarily played short stop, producing 78 put-outs, and 90 assists for the season. Offensively, she had 139 at-bats, posting a .288 batting average, .327 on-base percentage and a .424 slugging percentage, racking up 40 hits, with 7 doubles, and 4 home runs. She scored 15 times and had 21 RBIs. Her season high was against Waldorf, hitting 1 home run, scoring 2 times and producing 4 RBIs. Academically, Terres made the Dean’s List.

Before MSU:
Terres attended ROCORI Senior High in Cold Spring, MN. She made the academic honor roll all four years of high school and earned all-conference, all-section, and all-star team honors in softball during her senior year. In addition to her achievements in softball, Madison also played basketball and soccer for three years.

She is the daughter of Greg and Jen Terres, and has two siblings, Hunter and William.
