Biography
Before MSU:
Carissa is a 2025 graduate of May-Port CG High School and is originally from Portland, North Dakota. In high school she played varsity basketball for three years and ran track at the varsity level for five. In basketball, her team was the 2024 Class B State Basketball Champions and she made the Academic All-District Team in 2025. In track, she was a state placer in '21, '22, '23 & '24 in multiple relays. She was a state qualifier in the 1600 and 800 in 2022 & 2023.
She is the daughter of Ashley & Gary Mueller and has two siblings, Kaylee & Jacob. She plans to major in allied health.
