Gareth Hanson enters his second season as a student-assistant coach.
Gareth joined the women's basketball staff last year for the most succesful season in program history. In 2013-14, the women's basketball program finished the season with a record of 25-4 and advanced to the NAIA National Tournament for the second straight year. The Comets improved on their 2012-13 run by winning their opening round game of the 2013-14 tournament by beating Cornerstone University (Michigan) and advancing to the Sweet 16. The Comets were also the regular season co-champions of the NSAA and won the NSAA conference tournament.
