Biography
Before MSU:
Ilayda is a 2022 graduate of the
ITU ETA Foundation Doga College Science High School. During her time there her basketball team was the Istanbul City Champions & Turkey National Champions in 2022. She also participated in the ISF World School Championship in Belgrade, Serbia in 2022 where her team finished 7th.
After high school, Ilayda attended Three Rivers College where her team was NJCAA Region 16 & District Champs. They also made a NJCAA National Tournament Elite 8 appearance in 2024. She was named NJCAA All-Academic Second Team.
Ilayda is the daughter of Selma Yildiz Durka (Mother) & Omer Durka (Father) and has one brother, Efe. She plans to major in Kinesiology.
