What do you enjoy most about playing basketball for Mayville State?
"Playing basketball in itself is enjoyable, but even more than that I love that it makes me a better person. This program instills in us attitude and effort which will go a long way in my future endeavors when I’m done playing basketball. It’s also wonderful to be a part of a team who cares for me, encourages me, and pushes me. Basketball has given me relationships with people I wouldn’t otherwise have, and it’s given me a platform to live out my calling of knowing Christ and making Him known."

Why did you choose Mayville State?
"I’ve known for a long time that I want to be an elementary school teacher. After looking into a few schools, Mayville State seemed like the best fit for me because it has a great education program. I have three older brothers who came here and really enjoyed their experience. I like that it’s a small school so I can be involved, and of course get the opportunity to put on a jersey and play basketball again!"

What is your degree going to be in and what do you plan on doing once you graduate?
"I’m a double major in Elementary Education and Physical Education. I don’t know where I will end up but I plan on teaching in an Elementary school classroom someday."

What do you hope to achieve as a team this season?
"I hope that we can continue to improve and progress every single day, to be better each day than we were the day before. I hope to give it our absolute best and make the University and the community of Mayville proud of Comet basketball."
