Before MSU:
Macy is a 2025 graduate of Ashley High School in Ashley, North Dakota where she was a multi sport athlete. She played volleyball and basketball for four years, ran track for five years and golfed for two seasons. During her basketball career, she surpassed 1000 career points, named All-District Team 2x, made the Barnes County All-Tournament Team, holds the school record for most rebounds in a game and most rebounds in a season and named to the All-Academic Team 4x. In volleyball she made the All-District Team 1x & holds the school record in long jump, triple jump, 300 hurdles and 200x4 relay. She was also her class valedictorian.

She is the daughter of Marsha & Andrew Monson and has one sister, Megan. She plans to major in agribusiness.
