The Mayville State University women's basketball team fell on the road to Valley City State University on Friday by a score of 54-44.

Hailey Longtin and Hannah Wenaas were the only two Comets to finish in double figures. Longtin finished the game with 12 and Wenaas chipped in with 11.

The Vikings outrebounded the Comets 31-18 in the contest. VCSU was led in scoring by Mandi Bindas with 15 points. Amanda Brown had 12 and Brittany Lehner had 11.
