The Comet men were on fire from behind the three-point line all night long as they knocked down 16 three-point shots against the Trinity Bible College Lions during their 112-76 victory on Saturday, January 29, 2011 at the Lewey Lee Fieldhouse.
Twelve different Comets found their way into the score book as the team had great balance offensively.
Ross Aman led the way with 21 points and 11 rebounds. Aman was 7-for-7 from the free throw line as well.
Shavontae Samuels followed Ross with 19 points, six rebounds, and five assists in a solid game for the Junior Guard from Chicago, Illinois.
Sean Greene scored 17 points off the bench for the Comets in 18 minutes of action.
Bryen Pyles scored 15 points and
Adam Edwards added 10.
The Comets won the battle on the boards 36-26 with Aman leading the way with his 11 rebounds. The men hit eight three-point shots in each half while they shot 64 percent as a team during the game. The guys played well from start to finish and came out with an impressive victory.
Joshua Morris led the Lions with 24 points and five rebounds.
The Comets will be in action again next weekend when they host Minot State University and Dickinson State University.
