The MSU women's basketball team went on the road Friday December 9th to take on the University of Minnesota Morris. The Comets fought hard in a back and forth contest, but ended up falling short to Minnesota Morris 66-70. The Comets had a well balanced scoring attack with 4 players in double figures.
Ashley Holmstrom had a game high 11 rebounds to go along with her 10 points.
Megan Groen and
Missy Kassube each had 11 points for the Comets, and
Hailey Longtin added 10 points.
The Comets next game is Friday December 16th where they will go on the road to take on Crown College. The tip off is set for 7 P.M.
