The Comets went on the road to Valley City to take on Valley City State University Vikings on Saturday, January 21st  in the opening round of the DAC Tip-Off Tournament. The Comets trailed 29-18 at halftime. In the second half the Lady Comets fought back, but fell a little short 45-55.

The Comets were led in scoring by Hailey Longtin who had a game high 12 points. The Lady Comets will face Dickinson State University in the second round of the DAC tipoff tournament on Sunday, January 22nd at 12 p.m.
