Aberdeen, S.D. – The Mayville State Women's Basketball team used a strong second quarter to roll to a victory and secure the 2 seed heading into the conference tournament.

How It Happened:
In the first quarter, MSU used a 6-0 run to jump out to a five-point lead with 3:40 left in the first quarter. A Walcker three pointer in the final seconds gave MSU a six-point lead heading into the second quarter.
The Comets started the second quarter on a 23-2 run and jumped out to a 29-point lead and would take a 31-point lead heading into the intermission.
Mayville State continued to dominate in the third quarter as they continued to extend their lead to 44 and headed into the fourth quarter with that lead.
The Comets would shoot 51.8 percent from the field, 48.4 percent from behind the 3-point line, pulled in 28 rebounds, and dished out 11 assists.
